SLIB arranged the sale of an Assisted Living Facility located in Pflugerville, Texas just outside of Austin. Heatherwilde Assisted Living encompasses +/- 24,000 sq. ft. on a +/- 2.6 acre lot, offering 40 units and 48 operational beds. Some units offer a private enclosed patio, and all units include a kitchenette. The community is highly visible in the surrounding neighborhood, as it is adjacent to Pflugerville Health Care Center and Pflugerville Middle School.
Pflugerville is located in central Texas, approximately 16 miles northeast of downtown Austin. Major roadways providing access to the community include Interstate 35, Highway 130 and Highway 45.
According to Matthew Alley, Managing Director, “The transaction was scheduled to close at the end of 2018, but the Operator (Senior Care Centers) filed for bankruptcy during due diligence. This extended the time period to close by over four months. Both the Buyer and Seller were patient throughout the court approval process.”
